The "Good Girl"

Have you ever had people tell you that you are one of those really good girls that never do anything. Well, I get that a lot, and sometimes I don't know whether it's a compliment or to take offense. Oh well, I will continue with my so-called Good Girl lifestyle.

I am so sorry that I haven't been on in over a week! I have been so caught up in school and homework. I have been loaded down with homework this week.
Hmmmm, where was I last time...Oh! I'm supposed to talk to you about Bush and 1984. So, I was listening to NPR on the way to school, and there was a correspondent of the White House in Baghdad or something. He was talking about Saddam Hussein and how bad he was and yadda yadda yadda, and then he said, "His [Saddam's] dictatorship has been the worst in the 20th century." That struck me as a little odd because ummmm what other really bad dictatorship ocurred in the 20th century. Let me think, oh yeah, that guy with the weird mustache buy the name of Hitler. But Oh no he was not as bad as Saddam. Granted Saddam is a very evil person, but he was not trying to take over the world! we also have to remember that the US put Saddam into power. We also supported him in their [Iraq's] eight year war with Iran. Okay, in 1984, there were people who dedicated their lives to rewriting history, and if you keep saying something everyone will gradually believe it. Like mob psychology, one person says one thing and everyone agrees. He's trying to make us all believe that Saddam is the most evil man in all of history and he should pay and so should his country.
Speaking of paying, did you know that it's going to take 14 BILLION dollars to restore electricity in Iraq, 16 BILLION to restore water, and we need 3 BILLION immediately. No wonder we are getting at record high deficits. War is EXPENSIVE and we have been in two in the past three years! There is a problem here.
I am hoping that the democrates make a firm stand on many issues so we can get someone in the White House who really cares about what is going on all over. I won't be suprised if it takes them four years just to clean up after Bush.
Anywho, those of you who don't care about politics or are republicans, I'm really sorry, I hope that you don't get outraged and start throwing over-ripe tomatoes at the computer screen.
I am going to have to sign off for today! So-long, Farewell, Avitizen, and Good-bye!
