Hello friend!
I have been doing lots of thinking lately about love... I know some of you are probably rolling your eyes and sighing, but try to hear me out.
I was talking to April yesterday night, and she was telling me about her and Zack going to the mall on Friday night. So, she told Zack that he couldn't kiss her the whole night because one of her friends said that she doesn't kiss her boyfriend all the time because when it does happen it's special. So, she took a page out of her friend's book, and by the end of the evening Zack was pretty mad. Right before April's mom came to get her, April told Zack to kiss her. She said that when that happened, she got the butterflies in her tummy and it really remided her of how much she loved him. And that made me think....Is that how she views love??? I mean do the "butterflies" indicate how much you like someone??? So, I was talking to my mom about it and we had a long conversation about it. Basically, what I feel, is that the basis of a relationship is friendship. I think that at the end of the day you can still have something to talk about, and it isn't the kissy kissy goo goo you see on television. It's just friendship plus a sexual attraction. I think that is what love is.
